Full description
A standing axolotl holding a heart against its chest, with feathered gills and a hand painted finish. A small ornament for a desk, a shelf or a bedside table, and an easy present to give with a card. Handmade to order on the Isle of Wight.
The gills are printed as separate fronds rather than a solid frill, which is what gives the figure its character, and the heart is a separate colour from the body so it reads clearly from across a room. Shown in pink with a lilac heart, but the colours are yours to choose.

Material
3D printed in tough PLA, a rigid plastic suited to dry indoor use, then hand finished.

Please note
Each piece is printed individually to order rather than moulded, so you may see faint layer lines or small variations in the finish, and the hand painting means no two are identical. It carries the heart out in front, so stand it on a level surface and press it gently down onto its feet. On a soft or sloping surface it can tip forwards. The gill fronds are delicate, so lift it by the body. Keep away from strong heat and direct sunlight. This is a decorative ornament, not a toy, and it is not suitable for children under three.
