Full description
A horse head and neck built from flowing ribbon like strands that wind around each other and leave the form open, mounted on a round disc base. Shown in a bronze effect finish. Handmade to order on the Isle of Wight.
Because the strands are open rather than solid, the sculpture reads differently depending on where you stand and what is behind it, and it throws a mane of shadow in side light. It suits a mantelpiece, a hall table, a study shelf or a tack room, and it makes an obvious present for someone who rides.

Please note
Each piece is printed individually to order rather than moulded, so you may see faint layer lines or small variations in the finish. The open strands are fine in places, so lift the sculpture by its base rather than by the mane, and dust it with a soft dry brush rather than a cloth that can catch. Keep away from strong heat and direct sunlight. This is a decorative piece, not a toy. Keep out of reach of small children.
