Full description
A spotted eagle ray caught mid glide, with one wing lifted and the long tail trailing behind, hand painted dark above with white spots and a pale underside. Handmade to order on the Isle of Wight.
The countershading is the point of the paintwork: dark on top and pale beneath, the way the animal actually looks in the water. Printed as one solid piece so it sits flat on a shelf or a desk without a stand. It suits a coastal or ocean themed room, a study, or a present for a diver or a marine biology student.

Material
3D printed in tough PLA, a rigid plastic suited to dry indoor use, then hand painted.
What you receive
One ray model. It is a fixed display model and the wings and tail do not move. Anything else shown in the photographs is not included.
Colour
Shown in dark grey with white spots and a cream underside. Made to order in the colours you choose. Please message before ordering with what you want so it can be confirmed before printing.
Please note
Each piece is printed individually to order rather than moulded, so you may see faint layer lines or small variations in the finish, and the hand painting means no two are identical. The tail and wing tips are slender, so lift it by the body. This is an indoor decorative ornament and is not waterproof, so keep it out of water and out of aquariums, and away from strong heat and direct sunlight. Not a toy, and not suitable for children under three.
