I sent many a happy day in my grandparents rose garden as a child and grew to love the variety of roses and their colours. Inspired by spring being on the horizon and so a bud of hope and spring colour.

A loose sketch originally in colour pencils over lined with primaries tongues more subtle colour.
A loose sketch of my favourite flower the rose which are now showing some signs of spring.
I’m producing a small batch of prints unframed in A4 size onto archival paper the printing is out sourced at the current time.
