My ethos is to reuse items for other uses, and the quality comes from the design and build of each unique bag. This is a one-off product and can be found nowhere else in the world! I draw a lot of inspiration from the jacket's design and the nature of recycling. I like to include all of the original pockets and labels from the suit, and this often determines the final look of each bag.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.
Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.
Full description
Lovely gingham bag, made from a recycled Christian Dior suit jacket with original tan coloured lining with CD initials. The stripes are green, navy and orange, which really complement the tan colour. This over-the-shoulder messenger bag has one outside pocket and two inside pockets, with an adjustable strap. The bag is made from pure new wool with a viscose lining.
Handmade and designed by me, it is ideal for a laptop, newspaper, student notes or just a couple of good books!
The bag measures approximately 40cm in width, 30cm high and 10cm in depth. It is a soft-body bag, i.e. it has no rigid lining on the sides or base. This allows it to take the shape of whatever you have in it, and it also hugs the body when empty. The strap material is made from nylon webbing, and both the plastic buckles and webbing are from a UK supplier.
