This striking knotted gemstone necklace features a 46x36mm natural ice crystal obsidian pendant intricately carved with a serene Buddha design. The glossy dark tones and subtle translucency of the obsidian create depth and quiet strength, giving the piece a grounding yet elegant presence.
The hand knotted necklace measures approximately 62cm in length, excluding the pendant, and slips comfortably over the head. Individually knotted for durability and fluid drape, it feels both substantial and easy to wear. Warm 9ct gold plated sterling silver spacer beads add a refined contrast to the rich, darker gemstones.
The design includes natural ice crystal obsidian nuggets, 6mm golden obsidian beads and faceted 8mm smoky quartz. The varied shapes and finishes create beautiful texture and light reflection while maintaining a balanced, earthy aesthetic.
Ice crystal obsidian is traditionally associated with protection and clarity, believed to help reveal hidden truths and encourage insight. Golden obsidian is said to support personal strength and confidence, while smoky quartz is widely regarded as a stabilising stone thought to absorb negative energy and promote calm.
