Full description
The popularity of tropical themes rose during the 1930s and 1940s, influenced by the exotic stories told by returning soldiers and Hollywood movies. This increased further into the 1950s and 1960s which saw an increase of 'getting away from it all' and sunny beach culture.
These earrings are crafted from air dry clay, hand painted and varnished to give a ceramic-like finish. Completed with hypoallergenic antique bronze effect ear wires and plastic backs.
Handmade items may have slight variations or imperfections, but these add to their charm and individuality.
Care instructions:
- avoid prolonged exposure to water, lotion and other liquids
- item may break if bent or crushed
- keep away from excessive heat
