With three children I was conscious about the amount of single use clingfilm or tinfoil I was using to make their packed lunches.
I knew there must be a better solution so I set about making a prototype with masking tape and old bits of fabric - and Re-Wrap-It's Reusable Sandwich Wrapper was born!
I started selling them at school fairs, and as they got more and more popular I was keen to get help with the sewing. I felt strongly that I wanted them handmade locally so took a sample to Kilmarnock Prison where I knew they had an industries department.
The inmates do a 6 week block in Industrial Sewing so gain a qualification, they learn a skill and get paid for their work - whilst I get them made 30 minutes from home so a win win situation. Thank you for your support.

Something Green for the Lunchbox?
Made with the help of the inmates at Kilmarnock Prison, the Wrapper wraps around your sandwich, wrap or roll and seals with a velcro strip. It opens into a plate, wipe down and reuse again and again.
