Needing something heat proof and padded to put hot pots on and already in possession of some insulating material from making pot holders (see another of my listings) I came up with this design, which is big enough for a decent sized pyrex casserole pan and which I could make as fun as I wanted with cotton fabrics from my stash.
Safety information
Because of the Insulbright, which includes a metallised fabric to help its heat resistant properties, this pot stand can not be used in a microwave and should not ever be exposed to an open flame.
This is a custom-made item and cannot be returned unless faulty.
Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.
Full description
Protect your surfaces and add some style to your kitchen with this cute heat-resistant pot stand. This design - including the amount of insulation - has been carefully tested in my own home for some years, both on the dining table and on kitchen counters to brilliant results. What makes these pot stands truly excellent is that they can be washed in a washing machine and tumble dried any time they get dirty.
Each pot holder is 30cm x 18cm, made of two layers of quilting cotton, two layers of insulbright insulated batting, and a layer of quilt batting for a well insulated pot placing experience.
Because of the Insulbright, which includes a metallised fabric to help its heat resistant properties, this pot stand can not be used in a microwave and should not ever be exposed to an open flame.

For a plain colour cotton please tell me what colour and if I don't already have it I can source it.
