Inspired by traditional baker’s tools, this scraper is designed to be simple, practical and built to last. I wanted to create a wooden alternative to plastic scrapers — something that feels natural in the hand, won’t mark worktops, and improves with use over time. Each piece reflects my focus on honest materials and functional design.

Maple Wood Dough / Bench Scraper
Materials
Solid maple wood, finished with food-safe mineral oil and natural soy wax.

Thickness: 9 mm at spine, tapered to approx. 2 mm at the edge

Product Description
Handcrafted from solid maple, this dough scraper is shaped for comfort and everyday use. The thicker spine offers a secure grip, while the tapered edge slides easily under dough, pastry and chopped ingredients.
Maple is a durable, close-grained hardwood that’s smooth, hardwearing and well suited to food preparation. Unlike metal scrapers, it won’t mark wooden worktops or surfaces.
Care Instructions
Wipe clean with a damp cloth and dry immediately.
Do not soak or place in the dishwasher.
Occasionally reapply mineral oil to maintain the finish.
