This image is a fine art print of one of several prints I did as part of a project about the Lodgepole Pine in Yellowstone Park. The lifecycle of the tree is fascinating. This particular print is of a type of fungus that infects old and weak trees and leads to a blue stain in the wood. I thought the filaments were so lovely I created the original print from which this image comes.
