I have been making free motion appliqué cards for many years, with friends and neighbours asking for new designs as their and their children's interests change. They are fun to make - the design element as much as the cutting and stitching. Many of these cards have been framed and displayed by their recipients.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.
Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.
Full description
Wool felt ginger cat with a silver fishy on a dishy free motion embroidery picture on green/gold cotton background, stitched on to a 13.5cm square 300gsm recycled Kraft card. The item includes a matching Kraft paper envelope and a gold coloured self-adhesive paper seal, in a biodegradable clear bag.
I create the design in pencil and use tracing paper to make mini pattern pieces. I then stitch each piece to the background fabric and stabiliser, using free motion machine techniques. Each piece is cut by hand, using different colours, threads and fabrics to make each card unique. I list cards as a single item and the photos of the design are of the exact card in the order, so you know exactly what you are buying. If you would like particular colours, please feel free to message me and I can make a custom piece for you. Many recipients frame my cards and display them all year round.
I have two black rescue cats and they find their way on to many of my cards. This one is their friend from up the road, who visits regularly (but is on a diet and isn't allowed extra food).
