This piece was inspired by the natural way crystals and minerals form over time, creating veins, layers, and unexpected textures within stone. I wanted to capture that sense of slow growth and quiet detail, where no two formations are ever the same.
By working in translucent resin and allowing the materials to settle naturally, the crystal vein at the centre developed its own shape and character during the pouring process. The result is a one-of-a-kind piece that reflects light softly and feels rooted in the organic beauty of natural minerals.

This crystal vein bowl is a one-of-a-kind, hand-poured resin piece inspired by the natural formations found in geodes and mineral stone.
Made using translucent, milky resin and finished with a textured crystal centre, crushed glass, and subtle silver leaf details, the surface is designed to catch and reflect light gently from different angles.
I allow the textures and patterns to form organically during the pouring process, creating natural irregularities that echo the growth of real crystals. Each bowl is completely unique, with its own variations in pattern and finish.
The bowl can be used as a small decorative piece, a jewellery catchall, or a sculptural accent for a shelf or table.
