This is a view from the top of Bellymack Hill near Laurieston in Galloway, looking towards the mountains in the north west.
The busy clouds inspired me to try and capture them in the form of a painting, over the peaceful landscape, with the river Dee winding its way along.
It was a view which I felt would look nice captured on a circular canvas, to add to my small paintings collection, and the wooden stand displays the picture easily.

It is an original mixed media painting on a canvas board, supplied with a wooden stand for easy display
