I am desperate to see my sunflowers poking over a stone wall in the garden. I'm desperate for the insects and butterflies, the birds, the other flowers---when all of our senses are overwhelmed with the beauty of summer. I've missed flowers this winter, even though I do have some winter-flowering.
I also wanted to make something compact but maximalist: a flower-bomb, a busy piece within a small space. This would be a cute talking piece, certainly no-one else will have one.
Made with love, vintage buttons and vintage fabric.
Everyone has paintings and carvings, but not everyone has a vintage flower-box!!
