My inspiration was to create a beautiful, everyday kitchen tool that feels as good to use as it looks. I love making practical items that encourage people to bake and cook from scratch, and a classic French-style rolling pin is one of those timeless designs that never goes out of fashion.

Handmade French-Style Rolling Pin – Sycamore
Materials:
Crafted from solid sycamore wood and finished with natural food-safe mineral oil and soy wax.
Size:
Length: 8 inches (203 mm)
Diameter: tapered from 1.5 inches (38mm) to 1 inch (25mm)
Because each pin is individually made from natural timber, slight variations in size and grain are to be expected.
Product Details:
This rolling pin has been carefully shaped and smoothed by hand to create a simple, traditional French-style design. The gentle taper makes it easy to control when rolling dough, pastry or pizza bases, while the solid hardwood construction gives it a satisfying weight and balance.
Every pin is turned on the lathe from a single piece of wood, meaning no joins, handles or weak points – just a clean, practical kitchen tool designed for everyday use.
Care Advice:
Clean with a damp cloth and dry straight away. Avoid soaking or putting in the dishwasher. A light coat of mineral oil from time to time will keep the wood in excellent condition.
