Full description
A large circular wall art piece featuring a moongazing hare and a crescent moon made of many different shades of glass with rainbow tints and creams and whites. I handcut the glass and once assembled I fuse it in my kiln. The sky is blue aventurine which has a shimmer of its own and the stars are a gold mineral called mica. The hare is tack fused so that it stands in relief giving even more texture to the hanger. I've picked out details with glass enamels. It's roughly dinner plate size measuring 20cms diameter.
