This tea comes from small seasonal harvests in the high mountains of southern Albania, where Sideritis has been gathered and brewed for generations. Illyra Botanica brings this tradition to a modern, small-batch format for slow, everyday use.

WILD ALBANIAN MOUNTAIN TEA (SIDERITIS)
Wild-harvested Albanian mountain tea made from whole flowering Sideritis stems.
Hand-gathered in small seasonal batches from the remote high mountains of southern Albania and gently shade-dried to preserve the plant in its natural form. The tea is never powdered and kept whole to maintain its natural character, aroma, and appearance.
Naturally caffeine-free, with no additives, flavourings, or preservatives.

Taste
A clean herbal aroma with soft floral notes and a mild, smooth taste. Traditionally enjoyed plain, allowing the character of the plant to speak for itself.
Preparation
Place 1–2 whole flowering stems in a cup or teapot.
Pour over hot water (90–95°C), cover, and steep gently for 5–10 minutes.
Enjoy plain or with a small amount of honey if desired.
