I was keen to make this scarf for the colours of grey and subtle pink which reflect the soft skies we sometimes get in north Lancashire, on the fells in the winter. I also wanted to see if the recycled yarn, made from wool shoddy mixed with some cashmere, would blend well with wool yarn from local Ryland sheep.
