Dartmoor winter days can be bleak, wet and rolling-fog grey. Preserving summer and autumn flowers and leaves and creating pictures over this time, is a great way to remain focused on the forthcoming Spring.

Full description
"Dartmoor summer No.1" is a pressed flower creation from the heart of Dartmoor. All flowers, leaves and seeds grown and collected in my garden and slowly pressed in my studio. From field to finish can take around 6 months.
The flowers etc in this original artwork, were collected between August and October 2025, from location SX5873 on high Dartmoor
Acid free paper, archival glue, UV archival spray, acid free mount and tape. The artwork is protected for postage in a complimentary Ikea RÖDALM frame.
The picture is supplied with a comprehensive list of the flowers etc used.
Pressed flowers are natural and therefore will fade/ change colour over time- enjoy their journey. They are sensitive to damp surroundings.
To preserve the colours for as long as possible, keep out of direct sunlight and away from direct heat.
N.B 2nd picture has a reflection in top right hand corner.
