These carvings were made purely from my interest in superhero characters and specifically DC comics in which most of my favourite superhero characters are from. I have carved a few superheros in the past so I thought the idea of just carving their badge symbols into blocks would look pretty cool.

Full description
These blocks are handcarved from three separate pieces of basswood. Each one has been coated in boiled linseed oil before being painted with acrylic paints and then finished off with a beeswax orange oil protective coating. This set would be a great gift for any superhero fan.
