Hi and welcome to my little shop. I hope you have had a chance to relax a little over this winter holiday and feel suitably refreshed. I'm away from the 27th Dec to the 20th Jan for some much needed down time. So feel free to have a browse in the meantime and I'll be more then happy to see you when I reopen next year!
I am proud to be half Welsh and really feel a connection to the landscapes there. Following my accident I got even closer to my dad as we compared experiences of his mini strokes to my brain injury. One thing we both shared was the importance of having roots especially when the world is turned upside down.
In this collection I explore these roots and their importance in life and our place in the world. Hopefully by looking at these pieces you will also take the time to think about your roots and where you feel you are most at home when life gets tough.

Full description
Tryfan in autumn with the clouds just kissing its peak and the peatlands surrounding the base gurgling with moisture with every footstep. Hiking heaven definitely but for me this iconic welsh mountain is definitely one that I love to look at from normal ground level, not having a great head for heights.
Dimensions: 40x40cm and 4cm deep, painted onto a deep wood backed stretched canvas. It is strung and ready to hang even if you decided not to have it framed.
