I work with elderly people living with dementia and see the anxiety, restlessness and agitation it can bring. Twiddle Muffs really do offer a calming and comforting distraction.

Twiddle Muff hand warmer, hand knitted in pinks, purples and turquoise. It is suitable for busying the hands of those living with dementia, anxiety, autism, brain injury and sensory impairment.
26cm x 17cm and wide enough for even large hands.
It offers gentle visual and tactile stimulation. Twiddle Muffs can comfort and calm those who are anxious, restless or agitated and can distract from the repetitive, distressed behaviours that dementia and autism can bring.
Made using all new materials.
Gift wrapped in coloured tissue paper, with care instructions.
"Twiddles" incorporated in to this muff are : cheery buttons, wooden beads, satin ribbons, knitted owl and flowers, felt bee, jingly bells, furry eyelash yarn, wooden flowers.
The muff can be machine washed at 30 degrees. Place inside a pillowcase and fold over and over. Wash on a delicates cycle and do not tumble dry.
