Full description
Handmade fused glass chakrarainbow suncatcher with a hemp cord.
Made using a base of clear glass and pieces of transparent glass in rainbow colours. I have layered the colours corresponding with the seven chakras with red for the base chakra and moving through to violet at the top to represent the crown chakra. The glass has then been fused at over 800 C in a digitally controlled kiln to make a solid piece of glass. Next a hole has been drilled for the hanging cord and the glass has been fired again to smooth the edges of the drill hole. A piece of hemp cord has then been added for hanging, this has been left open at the ends to be tied as requird.
