Fine silver heart pendant with a sterling silver chain.
The pendant is hand made using Art Clay Silver which has been embossed, cut into shape and lightly sanded before being fired in the kiln at high temperature. It has then been burnished, polished and finished with a 1.4mm 925 sterling silver diamond cut belcher chain.

I have two of these available, as they are handmade there will be slight differences in the placement of the embossing, but the same design has been used and they are both finished to the same high standard.
The makers of Art Clay Silver collect the waste silver from things such as old x-ray plates and film negatives and then recycle it into pure silver (99.99%). After processing the recycled silver is mixed with organic binders and water to turn it into a clay-like material which can be shaped like a modelling clay. Once the pieces have been modelled and refined, they are fired in the kiln at high temperature to remove the organic binders leaving finished pieces that are .999 pure silver.
