The Orange Chocolate Crunch anyone? This pair of earrings is made from recycling Quality Street tins, they are gently curved to give a nice look when wearing. These measure approximately 1.5cm wide and 4.5cm long.
All my tin jewellery is hand cut using a jewellery saw, this enables me to follow shapes or be more organic in the cutting rather than punched out shapes that are the same. Each piece is then filed to smooth off the edges, shaped or folded and then lacquered to protect the surfaces from scratches. I then attach sterling silver hook. Supplied on an earring card in an organza bag.
All the tin I use have had a previous life and may show some signs of this, though I am careful to use good condition tins.
I don’t recommend wearing in water and clean with a soft cloth if needed.
