Full description
Rainbow fibula brooch -handcrafted tightly stitched hollow formed wire pin or hair pin made with rainbow-coloured wire to create an intricate form that is snake-like. Reminiscent of a Celtic brooch or fibula.
Using an anodised aluminium stitch holder as the pin and utilising many colours of wire this is a dramatic piece and I have not created anything similar to this.
Boxed ready to gift. Brooches are having a come back and not only for women but for men too.
Designed by Alison Bailey Smith in Liverpool
