Full description
The pattern on these tote bags is a print taken from French vintage seed packet. The designs is colourful and have a butterfly in the design and the tote bags have the same pattern both back and front, all have my makers label on the long handles and are not only unique to me but there is a limited amount of all three designs. I have a low boredom threshhold so I sew small quantities of the items I make. Strong cotton blend for the outer cover, pure cotton lining and pocket.
I made these last year when I bought some cushion covers because I loved the design and I thought could be repurposed so I decided to transform them into useful and pretty tote bags. They have a bottom gusset of approx 2 inches so hold more, are fully lined in repurposed cotton with again a cotton repurposed vintage zipper pocket that has a lobster catch to clip keys etc. The braid handles are 1.25inches.3cms across, so they won't cut into hands when carrying anything heavy, are strong and long enough to go over the shoulder for ease of carrying and to leave a hand free.
Dimensions are 16.5inches/42cms across by 15inches/38.5cms long by 2inches/5cm gusset. The handles are 28inches/71cms total length, all approx. This design is a russet Chrysanthemum flower
