My inspiration came from seeing how often readers fold page corners or use scraps of paper as bookmarks. I wanted to create something simple, practical and well made, using traditional leathercraft techniques and materials that age beautifully with use.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.
Additional terms
Returns and cancellations Personalised items are made to order and cannot be returned or refunded unless faulty. As all items are handmade and usually made and dispatched within 24 hours, orders cannot be cancelled once they have been placed. Please make sure all details are correct before ordering. Non-personalised items may be returned within 14 days of delivery. Items must be unused, in perfect condition and returned in their original packaging. Return postage costs are the responsibility of the buyer, unless the item is faulty or incorrect due to an error on my part. If an item is faulty, damaged or incorrect, please contact me as soon as possible so the issue can be resolved. Faulty items are covered in line with consumer rights.
Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.
Full description
This personalised leather corner bookmark is handmade in my Derbyshire studio from Italian full-grain Badalassi Pueblo leather. It slides neatly over the page corner, keeping your place without damaging the book.
Each bookmark is cut, stitched and finished entirely by hand using traditional leatherworking techniques. The leather is vegetable tanned and chosen for its durability and natural character, developing a unique patina with use.
Personalisation is included at no extra cost. You can choose engraved personalisation or hot foil personalisation in gold or silver. Hot foil is limited to up to 8 characters. Engraving creates a subtle, natural finish and appears more understated on darker leather colours.
Approximate size is 6 / 6 cm, designed to fit standard book page corners comfortably.
An optional black gift box is available. Personalised items are non-returnable unless faulty. Each piece is unique due to natural leather grain and colour variation. All items are handmade by me from scratch and are not resold or mass produced.
