This piece was inspired by late-90s and early-2000s animated cartoons with simple shapes, expressive eyes, and bright colour palettes. I enjoy recreating these nostalgic designs in felt form, giving them a soft, tactile finish while keeping the playful charm of classic cartoon characters.

This handmade keyring features a felt character inspired by retro animated cartoons, carefully cut, layered, and stitched entirely by hand. Made using soft felt in pastel blue, yellow, black, and cream tones, the design has a sweet, nostalgic look with bold eyes and a classic cartoon silhouette.
The character is finished front and back with felt detailing and attached to a metal keyring chain, making it ideal for use as a keyring, bag charm, or decorative hanging. Lightweight but sturdy, it adds a fun pop of colour and personality wherever it’s displayed.
