Solitude
Original mixed media collage
A4 - custom mount
Image size - 16 x 5cm (irregular)
'Solitude' is a unique original mixed media collage float mounted into a custom A4, white core mount. Each layer has been painted by hand.
My collages are created by layering a variety of papers, including handmade tissue papers, and then painted with gouache paints. I then work into the layers with water soluble and permanent pencils and water soluble wax pastels to create texture and depth. The collage is then held in place with artist quality Neutral pH adhesive and float mounted in a custom mount.
