I wanted to make a small blanket that is not too bulky for an armchair. I experimented with the pattern to achieve an elegant look that has more intricate detail at closer look.

Full description
This lap blanket measures about 48 by 32 inches (122 x 80 cm2). It’s smaller than a normal throw, best suited for armchairs. The blocky stripes contrast with the fine detail if the crochet stitches. The merino/cotton yarn is warm and soft, and the blanket looks lovely when folded over the back of the armchair too!
