Full description
Make a statement with this vibrant artisan-crafted bangle. Featuring a deep poppy base red accented with bright canary yellow and orange geometric inlays, this piece is the perfect blend of mid-century modern and contemporary wearable art.
This is made from polymer clay, and has taken 3 cures due to the method of creating. This is made from scratch, - starting with making a core of clay from waste clay, which is baked, then the pattern is created and carefully added to the core, this is cured. Once this has been completed the inner and edging of the bangle is added and cured for the final time. Following from this the whole bangle is sanded, this is the inside, the edges and the outer, which is sanded further and all of the bangle is buffed.
This is a slow process. No varnish or resin has been used.
The internal diameter is approx 65mm, the band width is approx 28mm.
This is a "perfectly imperfect" item. While there is nothing wrong with this bangle my intention was for the stripes to be very perfect.
