My work is inspired by a smelting pot of nature, folklore and pagan ways as well as the Medieval and Celtic aesthetic synonymous with the Arts & Crafts movement.

Safety information

Every piece of Trefoil stained glass is handcrafted using a traditional copper foil stained glass technique commonly known as ‘Tiffany Glass’. Each individual glass element is hand cut, wrapped in copper and soldered together. Stained glass, copper, lead-based solder and corrosive chemicals are used during the manufacture process. As such these pieces can be heavy but fragile so care should be taken when deciding where to display your new glass art. Suction-backed sky hooks are not recommended for hanging. While some items are intended for younger customers, they should in no way be considered toys and are for ornamental purposes only. Not suitable for food use. Cleaning: To keep your new glass looking its best gently wipe over with a soft cloth. Do not submerge in water and avoid the use of abrasive chemicals as these may scratch the glass or cause damage to the patina.

Feather lore:

Folklore surrounding feathers spans many cultures. Birds are naturally associated with flight and so their feathers are often believed to symbolize the spiritual realm, with white feathers particularly thought to be as a sign ancestors or angels are near. In ritual work their obvious connection to air and thus the East Cardinal means feathers are commonly used in smudging to clear away stagnant energy or altar work to promote clear communication and clarification. In Native American traditions, feathers are commonly used in dreamcatchers to offer protection and ensure only good dreams find their way to the sleeper beneath.
