Rescued from a builders fire during renovations of a 17th century farm cottage. This was an off cut after the main beam was used for a larger project. The worn jointing details were too interesting and attractive not to make something from it.

Full description
This unique lamp is made from part of an oak beam salvaged from a 17th century English cottage (don't worry - the cottage is still standing). A rich, dark brown colour, featuring the original peg holes and joint notches and finished with a clear wax to highlight the grain.
Heavy enough to be used as a book-end.
