This striking bracelet is made with coin-shaped stabilised turquoise gemstone beads which are interspersed with small round sterling silver beads. The bracelet fastens with a sterling silver carabiner clasp and measures 19.5cm in length and has an inside circumference of 17.5cm. All the metal components of this bracelet are sterling silver.
The bracelet comes presented in a card gift box which is 100% recyclable. Underneath the box insert, you will find a small poly bag for storage and an anti-tarnish strip to help keep the silver shiny.
A gemstone card is also provided, which highlights the main properties or meanings associated with turquoise. On the reverse side of the card are some simple jewellery care guidelines.
The bracelet will be posted within 3 days hours of purchase by 2nd class post, but please message me if you need it sooner.
Turquoise literally means “Turkish Stone”. Turquoise was used for beads by the Egyptians as early as 5500bc and has been used in amulets in Europe and Asia for thousands of years. It is important in Native American jewellery. The Navajo and Hopi in Arizona value Turquoise as an attractor of prosperity and fertility of the soil and treasure it as a powerful success and good luck stone. Turquoise is said to be a stone of communication, making one more eloquent, loving, creative and honest. It is also considered a stone of friendship.
