Grief comes in many forms. For me it came with illness then death of my husband Pat in the summer of 2011. Here I share with you the journey I have made during the three years after Pat’s death, as journaled in my words and stitches. I spun, stitched and wrote as a way to cope with the intense feelings I had, never intending to share these things with the world. If there is anything I have learned from this journey it is that humans can thrive despite our brokenness.

This book contains reflections and textile art that I wrote and created in the three years after my husband Pat died. It’s a personal and authentic reflection on journeying with grief and God.
