Full description
This is a small 7 cm diameter trinket dish made from polymer clay.
It has been made using a technique called mokume gane, which is where different colour clay is stacked upon each other, items are pushed into the clay, to push the colours into one another, and then the clay is finely sliced and the pattern created is visible. The dish is of a very light pink which almost looks cream, with black and deep pink pattern.
On these dishes I have used flower cutters to develop the pattern. There is no paint, transfers or varnish used on the dishes.
The edge is sanded to there are no sharp edges.
The underside has black and pink marble effect striped, this looks very effective.
The desirable dish is perfect for small items, such as rings or earrings, and will look good on your bedside or dressing table. Ideal as a gift for yourself or a loved one.
The item will be placed in a cardboard box which is designed to fit into your letterbox.
