Full description
This trinket dish is 7cm diameter.
It has been made using the mokume gane technique, this is where different contrasting coloured clays are stacked on top of one another, shapes are pressed into the clay and then the clay is thinly sliced to show the different colours and this provides a pattern. On this design I have used flowers and dots.
The edge of the dish has been sanded to give a smooth finish. The top has not been sanded as this would impact the pattern. The back of the dish is a marble pink and was added using leftover clay.
This is a truly unique trinket dish, perfect to place your rings or earrings, and will be beautiful on your bedside cabinet or dressing table. Ideal for gifting.
This item will be placed on a cardboard box designed to fit in your letterbox
