Full description
The Violets are one of the Birth Month Flowers for February. It is perfect as a birthday gift for someone born in February, Valentines present or for someone who loves flowers.
Painted on 300gsm watercolour paper using MeiLiang paints. As these pigments are not fully lightfast, the colours may gently soften, evolve over time, just as the seasons change. I like to think of it as a living artwork. It's the perfect gift for a country home.
It has been wax sealed for protection from dust and moisture ready to be framed; comes mounted in a 7"x9" mount with an approx. 5x7 window.
To best preserve the colours, I recommend displaying the artwork away from direct sunlight and framing with UV-protective glass.
The artwork will be carefully packaged to ensure it arrives safely - sent via Royal Mail 48-hour tracked delivery for peace of mind and reliability.
