I was inspired by the cosy feeling of autumn and the comfort of handmade objects. I wanted to create a character that feels friendly, grounding and full of warmth, something that would bring a little smile and seasonal charm into someone’s home.

This is a decorative ceramic ornament and not a toy. Handle with care – it is fragile and can break if dropped. Keep out of reach of small children. For outdoor use, place in a sheltered position and bring indoors during freezing weather. Colours may vary slightly due to monitor or screen settings.

Full description
This one-of-a-kind autumn gonk has been lovingly hand-built in my home pottery studio using durable stoneware clay. Each gonk has its own personality, with gentle wonky charm that makes it truly unique.
After carefully shaping by hand, the gonk was left to dry slowly before being fired twice in the kiln. The first firing (bisque) strengthens the clay, and the second firing melts the glaze to create a hard-wearing, long-lasting finish.
Made with care, patience, and plenty of love, this gonk is perfect for autumn displays, shelves, windowsills, or as a thoughtful seasonal gift.
