This piece was inspired by woodland folklore and the quiet magic of nature at dusk. The fox is often seen as a symbol of curiosity, cleverness and gentle watchfulness, and I loved the idea of capturing that moment of stillness – a fox gazing beneath the moon, surrounded by trees and soft lantern light.
I wanted to create something that feels calm and story-like, blending natural materials with a design that invites you to slow down and enjoy shared moments around the table. The compact format makes it practical for everyday use, while the illustration adds a touch of woodland charm when displayed in the home.
