These print were inspired by drawings of the poppy seed heads I had in the garden and the variety of shapes they came in.

Lino print of poppy seed heads print in black
The seed head of a poppy is lovely when you look at them closely, different shapes, lovely textures and each unique. This is what I wanted to capture in this print.
It is taken from my own drawings of seed heads, transferred to Lino and hand carved. Each print is individually inked and printed, so some variation in ink transfer can occur but, this is part of the character of Lino Printing.
Printed on acid free printmakers paper in Cranfield safewash inks. Paper measures 17.5cm by 25cm, printed image is 10cm by 15.5 cm approximately.
Prints are sent unmounted but well packaged using tracked postage.
Please be aware individual screen settings may can alter colours from original print.
