I love to keep warm, and living on first floor in an apartment block which has concrete floors, and even though with thick underlay and wool carpet, it feels cold around my legs. I suffer with arthritis in ankles So I decided to make leg warmers. Very 1980's and Jane Fonda! These have proven to be the most economic answer to having natural warmth around my legs ( rather than lifting carpet, underlay and furniture to lay insulating boards on floor!) Full description
Hand knitted, by me, leg warmers in variegated colours to keep ankles thru to calf muscles warm indoors and outdoors. Wear them under trousers, maxi skirts, slouchy style or just be retro and wear them at fitness classes!!!
Knitted with premium British acrylic yarn with added wool in a lovely warm weight. Fine elasticated tops to ensure they, hopefully, won't roll down. Length: 18 inches/45cm approx. All made with TLC.
