Mother of pearl comes from the inner lining of mollusc shells, sometimes the piece can have a curve like the shell itself. It’s a strong, resilient material and when held up to light it’s iridescent, creating a shimmering, colourful effect.

A pair of mother of pearl heart charm drop earrings, topped with tiny 2mm black faceted spinel stones for a subtle sparkle. Everything's linked together using silver plated chain, wire and matching earring hooks.
