I used to take cookery classes and I had a selection of cookery tools in a special drawer in the kitchen, my wife opened it up - held one of the tools and said to me "What's this thing with holes and two handles?" I said "I'm going to write a poem about that!" which I did, it's in here, the poem is about a garlic press! Before I wrote the poem for this book I siad to myself, I enjoy writing poems, what can I write about that is different to what anyone else has written about? I said YES! I KNOW - HOUSEHOLED OBJECTS - and here they are for your pleasure!
