Full description
Here is a fun unique accessory featuring Braille tape, a zip pull and an interesting electrical connector part, with a vintage non-working pink Barbie watch as the centrepiece. Also featured are a quartz mechanism from another watch, a jigsaw piece featuring crossword clues on one side and Sudoku numerals on the reverse, a couple of pieces from an iconic "universally recognisable construction kit", a pair of Monopoly Houses, a garden gnome button, and a couple of ring-pulls - which are smooth!
It is a kitsch mixture of nostalgia, childhood memories and unexpected "useful" things - a maximalist statement piece of jewellery and a perfect quirky upcycled gift for someone who never lost their playful spirit.
To complete the total approximate adjustable length of 18.00 inches, I made a chain of rainbow coloured mixed media vintage beads.
