’ve always loved Christmas for the quiet moments rather than the gloss — a softly lit tree, twinkling lights, and decorations that feel like they’ve been gathered over time. These pieces came from wanting to make something simple and handmade, using denim and fabric scraps that already had a story, rather than buying anything new. I like decorations that feel a bit rustic and imperfect, where you can see the stitching and the hand that made them. For me, sewing these slowly has become part of the season itself — a way to pause, put the radio on, and make something warm and familiar that can be brought out year after year.

Full description
This denim angel is handmade from the pocket of reclaimed jeans. Carefully cut, folded and stitched to create a simple, rustic Christmas decoration. Finished with a twine hanging loop and a small felt bead, it’s designed to feel soft, natural and quietly festive.
Each angel is made slowly by hand, using upcycled fabrics that already have their own history, so no two are ever exactly the same. The twines, seams and texture of the denim are very much part of the look — perfectly imperfect and full of character.
Lovely hanging on a Christmas tree, a branch display, a door handle or hook, and ideal if you prefer handmade decorations over shiny baubles. A gentle, timeless piece that can be brought out year after year.
