The idea for this ring came from my love of the Scottish Highlands—the rugged landscapes, the deep heritage, and the quiet beauty of the animals that live here. Highland cattle have always fascinated me, especially the richness and character in their horn. Every piece feels like a tiny fragment of the land itself.
I wanted to create something that honoured that natural material without disguising it—pairing the organic patterns of Highland cow horn with the clean strength of sterling silver. The contrast felt symbolic: wildness and refinement, nature and craft, tradition and individuality.
As I shaped each piece by hand, I realised that every ring would be completely its own—no repeating patterns, no predictable colours, just honest, natural variation. That uniqueness is what inspired the whole design: a ring that embraces the beauty of things that can’t be replicated.
