I have always been fascinated by the Northern Lights, I went to Lapland several years ago to see them and was overjoyed to see them here in Northern Ireland last May. That display last May was truly amazing and I wanted to capture the magic of that once again in paint.
I went out with my camera on a lovely, bright Sunday afternoon and took lots of photos around Enniskillen. It was near the golden hour so the light was stunning. For these paintings I used photos I’d taken in a roughly northerly direction. I used my photos from May last year as a reference for the Northern Lights colours.

Full description
This is a limited edition Giclee Print from my original acrylic painting ‘Hope’ which is part of my Enniskillen Northern Lights collection. This features several prominent buildings in Enniskillen along with a beautiful swan on the Erne. In the sky I’ve included the constellation Cygnus as a nod to the swan.

The print area is 24cm x 32cm which is slightly smaller than the original painting, it has an additional 2.5cm white border.
The prints will be limited to a maximum of 50. The Giclee prints are on excellent quality fine art paper and have museum quality archival longevity. Each print will be individually numbered and signed.
Each print comes with its own Certificate of Authenticity.
The print will be sent to you wrapped in tissue paper in an A3 size please do not bend cardboard backed envelope. It will be sent Royal Mail 24 with tracking.
Please note the photos show print examples, this will not be actual print you receive as each is individually numbered. The last photo shows all three available prints together, please note this listing is just for the print ‘Hope’.
